Arrival Day

Your Provençal journey begins with arrival at your private villa retreat in the heart of the Luberon Valley. After settling into your elegant accommodations, the afternoon is yours to explore the property's beautiful grounds or take a refreshing dip in the pool while soaking in the timeless beauty of your surroundings. We'll begin our wellness journey with an optional afternoon Pilates session to stretch and center ourselves after travel, or you can opt for a lively game of tennis or pétanque. This evening, we'll gather for aperos followed by a welcome dinner prepared by our private chef, featuring Provençal cuisine and fine local wines.

L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue Market & Gordes

After optional morning Pilates and breakfast prepared by our private chef, we'll journey to L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, one of Europe's premier antique markets. With expert local guidance, you'll discover treasures among the stalls before enjoying lunch at leisure in one of the town's charming cafés. Our afternoon takes us to the sacred Abbaye de Sénanque, a stunning 12th-century Cistercian monastery, then concludes in Gordes, one of France's most beautiful hilltop villages. We'll return to the villa by early evening for aperos and dinner prepared by our private chef.

South Luberon Villages & Wine Experience

After optional morning Pilates and breakfast, we'll journey through the picturesque South Luberon to a working olive mill where we'll discover artisanal olive oil production and taste premium oils and regional specialties. We'll continue to charming Cucuron for lunch at Le 20 Gourmet, beautifully situated beside a basin surrounded by 280-year-old sycamore trees—the romantic setting featured in "A Good Year." Our afternoon includes wine tasting at Château de Sannes overlooking lavender fields and vineyards, then concludes in Lourmarin, one of France's "Plus Beaux Villages," where you can explore historic streets and browse sophisticated shops. We'll return to the villa for aperos and dinner prepared by our private chef.

Aix-en-Provence 

After breakfast prepared by our private chef, we'll journey to elegant Aix-en-Provence, founded by the Romans in 123 AD and fed by natural springs that create fountains throughout this historic center of commerce, art, and academics. We'll explore vibrant market squares—from food and flowers to linens and local crafts—before enjoying lunch at leisure in one of the city's excellent cafés. Our afternoon features a guided walking tour, beginning with the magnificent Cathedral Saint-Saveur, followed by exploring Cézanne's artistic legacy throughout the city. Returning to the villa by early evening, we'll enjoy an apero followed a lovely dinner, al fresco.

Les Alpilles & Saint-Rémy-de-Provence

After optional morning Pilates and a late brunch prepared by our private chef, you'll have time for your choice of a massage, pool relaxation, or exploring the villa's grounds before our afternoon cultural adventure. We'll journey to the dramatic Les Alpilles region, beginning with the extraordinary Carrières des Lumières, where limestone quarries become spectacular galleries through cutting-edge projection technology. We'll continue with a visit to Les Baux-de-Provence, a UNESCO World Heritage village dramatically perched on rocky outcroppings, then conclude with shopping time in charming Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, where van Gogh created some of his most famous works. For dinner, we'll experience dinner set in a romantic courtyard near Roman antiquities, featuring twinkling lights and innovative Provençal cuisine.

North Luberon Villages & Culinary Experience

After optional morning Pilates and breakfast, we'll explore the authentic North Luberon region, beginning with a guided market visit in charming Goult, where an expert local chef will share insights into selecting the finest local ingredients—from artisanal cheeses to fresh farm produce. We'll then tour Goult itself, with its historic windmill and stunning architecture, before enjoying lunch at leisure. Our afternoon continues in Roussillon, famous for its dramatic red ochre cliffs and charming shops featuring local pottery and art. We'll have time for a guided walk or independent exploration of this unique village. Returning to the villa, we'll participate in a cooking demonstration where our private chef shares the secrets of traditional Provençal cuisine, incorporating our morning market ingredients. This hands-on experience will be followed by aperos and the dinner we've helped prepare.

Châteauneuf-du-Pape Wine Experience 

After optional morning Pilates and breakfast, we'll journey to the prestigious wine region of Châteauneuf-du-Pape. We’ll experience an exclusive visit to Château de la Gardine, one of the areas finest family wineries, including underground barrel cellars and tastings in the family's private living room. Lunch at Le Verger des Papes offers stunning terrace views over the Rhône Valley, followed by a visit to Chocolatier Castelain for exceptional local chocolates. In the evening, we’ll gather as a group for farewell aperos and dinner, celebrating an unforgettable week in the heart of Provence.

Departure

After breakfast, luxury transfers will be provided to regional airports for your flights home, taking with you the serenity of your Pilates practice and memories of Provence's timeless beauty and warm hospitality.
