Physical Requirements & Accessibility
Our tours are designed for travelers who are comfortable being on the move and participating in a full itinerary. While our experiences generally do not involve extensive hiking or strenuous physical activity, they may include considerable walking, standing, stairs, uneven surfaces, and occasional longer days.
Depending on the itinerary, travelers should be prepared to:
Walk with the group at a reasonable pace and keep up with scheduled activities.
Navigate stairs, uneven services, or cobblestone streets independently.
Stand or walk for extended periods when visiting museums, historic sites, markets, and other attractions.
Manage occasional long travel days, including early departures and multiple activities.
Navigate airports and other transportation hubs, and manage personal luggage when necessary.
Board and exit coaches, trains, boats, and other forms of transportation which may involve steps or limited accessibility.
Because our itineraries are group-based and often involve multiple experiences in a day, there are limits to the assistance our staff can personally provide. We want to help travelers understand what to expect and determine whether a particular trip will work well for them.
If you have mobility, accessibility, or other needs that may affect your participation, we encourage you to contact us before booking. We are happy to discuss the specific itinerary, the physical demands involved, and accommodations that may be available.
Our goal is for every guest to have a rewarding and enjoyable experience while allowing the group to travel comfortably and on schedule.
